Working TogetherÂ
Together with your funeral director, I can help you plan a funeral ceremony that honours your loved one, giving space to people to come together to say a fitting goodbye.

Funeral ceremonies can be held at crematoriums, natural burial sites or memorial services at a variety of locations. We will work together to agree the tone required whether this is formal or a celebration of life and agree what personalised elements may be appropriate to include to honour your loved one.

What to Expect
First Conversation
We will arrange a time and place to hold a gentle, unhurried discussion to learn about your loved one and understand the tone you want for the ceremony. You are welcome to invite others who would like to share stories and help shape the ceremony to this discussion.Â

The discussion is at your pace and it usually takes approximately 1hr to 1hr 30 minutes. During the conversation, I will ask you about your loved one to begin to draw a picture of them for the ceremony. We will also discuss the structure of the ceremony, including any music, readings, poems or personalised elements you'd like to include.

Crafting the Ceremony
I will prepare the ceremony and create the full script. I will share a draft of the tribute for you to review. It also lets you reflect on our conversation to ensure that it feels exactly right and, for any one contributing to the ceremony, to prepare ahead of time.

On the Day
I work closely with the funeral director to conduct the ceremony, manage timings, support readers and ensure the ceremony flows smoothly.Â

After the Ceremony
A presentation copy of the script can be provided for family keepsakes, if required.
Travel expenses - All prices include travel costs up to 15 miles from Langport. Mileage charged at HMRC Rates (55p per mile).
Accommodation - Charged at cost rate + £25 admin fee.
